Each AI step is done by an AI model from one company or another. On means the service has a company and a model chosen for that step, so checks use it. Off means checks go without it. Neither shows whether that company is answering.
02 · Its limits
What this page shows, and what it does not
- It shows which AI steps are on, not whether each company is answering this minute. A check that meets a company that is not answering tries a backup where there is one, goes on without the challenge, or stops, and its receipt says which.
- It keeps no history. There is no record here of earlier interruptions, and nothing on this page is stored.
- It reports the service as your browser reaches it. A network between you and Squire can fail on its own.
- For the technically minded: this page asks /api/health and /api/version, and anyone can ask them too.
03 · If a check stops
What to do when a check does not finish
A check that stops gives no answer rather than one Squire cannot stand behind, and its receipt says where it stopped. Press Squire it again to start a fresh check. If the service did not answer on this page either, wait a few minutes and try again.
If Squire says there are too many checks at once, wait a minute. The button comes back on its own.
